This is a translation of the original Spanish version. In the event of any discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.

1. Who is responsible for your data

Bruno Figueiredo Acorsi, CUIT (Argentine tax identification number) 20-94783390-2, domiciled at Las Margaritas 1000, Pilar, Province of Buenos Aires, Argentina, an individual (natural person) operating under the buddyB brand ("buddyB", "we", "us"), is the data controller responsible for the processing of the personal data collected on the buddyb.ai website (the "Site").

This Policy explains what data we collect, what we use it for, who we share it with and how you can exercise your rights. It complies with Argentine Law 25,326 on Personal Data Protection, its implementing Decree 1558/2001 and AAIP Provision 60/2016 (security measures).

2. What data we collect

2.1 Data you give us

  • "Book a meeting" form: name, email, company, number of employees, the process you want to improve, the message you write, how you heard about us and, optionally, phone number and website.
  • Site chat: the messages you write and any data you choose to share in the conversation (for example, your name or a way to contact you).
  • Scheduling: if you book a call, you do so on Calendly, which receives the data you enter there.

Please do not share sensitive data (health, ethnic origin, political opinions, religion, card details or passwords) in the chat or the form. We do not need it to assist you.

2.2 Data generated when you use the Site

  • Strictly necessary cookies:
    • a session cookie, which lets us keep your chat conversation going;
    • a language cookie, which remembers the language you chose;
    • a visit-origin cookie: which campaign or site you came from (UTM parameters and click identifiers). It is a first-party cookie and is not shared with third parties without your consent.
  • Technical data: browser and device type. Your IP address is not stored as such: it is converted into an irreversible code that we use only to stop abuse (for example, mass automated submissions).
  • With your consent: measurement and advertising tools (Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel). See section 7.

3. What we use your data for

  1. Answering your inquiries, in the chat or through the contact details you leave us.
  2. Organizing and preparing the discovery call, and sending you a proposal where appropriate.
  3. Following up commercially on your inquiry.
  4. Knowing which campaign or channel you came from, to measure what works. With third parties, only with your consent.
  5. Protecting the Site against abuse and keeping it secure.
  6. Complying with legal obligations and responding to competent authorities.

We do not sell your data or use it for purposes other than those described here.

4. The chat and the virtual assistant

The Site chat is handled by an automated virtual assistant. It uses an artificial intelligence service from an external provider to understand your inquiry and reply to you. When needed, a person from the buddyB team continues the conversation.

  • Messages are sent to that provider only to generate the reply. Under its commercial terms, it does not use them to train its models.
  • The assistant does not make decisions that produce legal effects concerning you: it only answers inquiries and organizes the information so that a person can review it.

5. Who we share your data with

We work with providers that process data on our behalf and only for the purposes of this Policy:

ProviderPurposeLocation
SupabaseDatabase where forms and conversations are storedBrazil (São Paulo)
AnthropicProcessing of chat messages by the virtual assistantUnited States
CloudflareHosting of the Site and securityGlobal network
CalendlyBooking the callUnited States
TelegramInternal alerts to the team that an inquiry has arrived (without your personal data)Global network
Google and MetaMeasurement and advertising, only if you accept the corresponding cookiesUnited States

We will also share data when required by law, a court order or a competent authority.

6. International transfers

Some providers process data outside Argentina, in countries that may not offer an equivalent level of protection: the United States and, for storage, Brazil.

By using the chat or submitting the form, you consent to those transfers (section 12, Law 25,326). In addition, we seek to ensure that providers offer adequate contractual safeguards.

7. Cookies

  • Strictly necessary: chat session, chosen language and visit origin (section 2.2). Without them the chat cannot keep the conversation going.
  • Measurement and advertising (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel): only activated if you accept them in the cookie notice. You can change your choice at any time from "Cookie preferences".

You can also delete or block cookies from your browser. If you block the strictly necessary ones, the chat may stop working.

8. How long we keep your data

  • Chat conversations in which you did not leave contact details: 90 days. After that they are deleted or anonymized.
  • Inquiries with contact details (form or chat): for as long as the business relationship lasts and up to 24 months from the last contact. After that they are deleted, unless a law requires us to keep them.
  • Technical and security logs: up to 1 year.

9. How we protect your data

  • Encrypted connection (HTTPS/TLS) across the entire Site.
  • Database with restricted access: the data cannot be read from the browser; only the controller has access, with their own user account.
  • IP addresses are stored in transformed form, never as such.
  • Service keys are kept outside the code and the browser.

10. Your rights

Under Law 25,326, you have the right to:

  • access your data (request a copy of the data we hold);
  • rectify it if it is inaccurate or incomplete;
  • have it deleted when it is no longer necessary or you withdraw your consent;
  • object to its processing.

How to exercise them: write to privacidad@buddyb.ai with the subject "Ejercicio de derechos (Ley 25.326)" (exercise of rights). Include your full name, a way to contact you and what you are requesting. We respond within the time limits set by law: 10 calendar days for access requests and 5 business days for rectification or deletion.

Notice required by DNPDP Provision 10/2008 (translation, with the original Spanish text alongside):

The data subject has the right to exercise the right of access to their personal data free of charge at intervals of no less than six months, unless a legitimate interest to that effect is shown, in accordance with section 14, subsection 3 of Law No. 25,326. The AGENCY FOR ACCESS TO PUBLIC INFORMATION, in its capacity as the Supervisory Authority of Law No. 25,326, has the power to handle complaints and claims filed by anyone whose rights are affected by non-compliance with the rules in force on personal data protection.

If you contact us from Brazil or the European Union, you also have the rights granted to you by your local law (LGPD or GDPR) and you can exercise them through the same channel.
